Where we are going ...

The Plan:
The project began pre-production during April of this year, starting with budgeting, story development, scheduling, asset
research, film transfers, and photo restoration efforts… and is now well along the path to success.

Production:
Currently in the third and final phase, just a few more interviews and arrangements to be made and then post production
edit phase begins.

Post Production:
The Edit: The Final Steps… This is the longest phase of the project, lasting up to a year. This is where all the edit, scoring, and real story will be developed. It is intended to keep everyone involved in this process through discussion groups and screenings.

It is in this phase we can determine if there are multiple “full story” threads which we can divide the project  into, thus making a multi-part series, allowing for the larger story to be told.

Release:
The Release:We plan to hold the Premiere at both US GP Locations:  Laguna Seca in Monterey California (the 4th year running), and the inception event at Indianapolis Speedway during the first US GP ever held at the venue.

Both of the premieres will coincide with an auction of the project's bikes. Drawing such connoisseurs as Jay Leno, the initial belief is that the replica bikes will go for top dollar due to the connection to the famed Indian Wrecking Crew.

This project is set for release via the cable networks on channels such as 'Speed,’ ‘Discovery’ and 'The History Channel.’  Additionally, the distribution through rental venues such as Netflicks and Blockbuster are extra avenues for revenue.

Another benefit of the project is that it is perfectly suited for a successful run in the Film Festival Circuit; currently there are thousands of festivals run throughout the US every year, but we will concentrate on those best suited for the film. This will allow for maximum exposure in meeting the next two stages. Visit www.withoutabox.com for more information on the possibilities for the film’s submission and what venues may be available to us.

Afterward/The next two stages:

Feature Length: The story is ideal for development into a feature length film, much like the World’s Fastest Indian (created from the documentary about Burt Munro “Offerings to the God of Speed”), or Lords of Dogtown, (inspired from the documentary of the same name “Dogtown”).  This film will have the same type of developmental potential and will be marketed and treated as such. All interest to pursue this type of development will be entertained.

Commercial venues: 'History,' 'Discovery,' or 'Speed' channels are also viable avenues for the project. The team will develop the project in a manner that will make adaptation into these types of markets cost effective and quickly feasible for interested parties.
